Following their last year’s brilliant and standout performance, and by popular demand from audiences and club members, the Javier Colina Trio returns to Lahore for the 3rd edition of the International Jazz Festival. Hosted by Lahore Jazz Club in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, this opening concert will bring world-class jazz back to the city.
Javier Colina on double bass, Perico Sambeat on saxophone, and Marc Miralta on drums will take the stage to deliver a pure, unfiltered jazz performance right in the heart of Lahore.

Tribute to NFAK by Mekaal Hasan Band - 17 AUG 24
On the 27th death anniversary of the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Lahore Jazz Club presents a tribute concert featuring Pakistan’s celebrated Mekaal Hasan Band with traditional vocalist Shahzad Ali Khan. They will perform the Grammy-nominated 1996 classic album Night Song by NFAK and Michael Brook in a jazz-rock fusion style. This concert will be a reflection on the enduring power of this record, praised for its intoxicating and spiritually uplifting cross-cultural expression.

Lahore Jazz Club is expanding its lineup to include more intimate events alongside its renowned festivals and large-scale shows, to integrate refined live music deeper into Lahore’s urban culture. As part of this expansion, Bluesax, a revered band based in Lahore known for their blues-infused music exploring social and spiritual themes, will be featured for the solo live performance at the upcoming show happening on the 29th of June. The band pioneered a distinct fusion of jazz, blues, and eastern classical influences—a genre that could be called “Desi Blues.”
